The St. Paddy’s Day AHBA Herding Ranch Dog Trial was a round-robin affair, with each day spent at a different venue. Friday saw competitors negotiating the lower fields at Packleader Farm, with Rusty Jeffers presiding as judge. Congratulations to High in Trial Bobby Blue (owner Kent Bradley) and RHIT Echo’s Prince of Denmark (Aaron Brown, Teresa Brown, Jan Warner). Saturday’s trial was at Fido’s Farm, with judge David Larson. Congrats to HIT Bobby Blue and RHIT Holman’s Tuck N Roll of Chesta’s Callaway (owner, Ashley Wright). Sunday’s event was at Frog’s Breath Farm, with judge Cathy Baillu. Congrats again to HIT Bobby Blue and RHIT Prim Lewirot (Charlotte Dietsch, owner). The Crook the Dog Award, sponsored by Kent and Darcy Bradley, went to Sam Lietz and Bling.
