The Memorial Day Trial was a success, despite sometimes challenging weather. Several club members finished titles and/or earned points, the dogs and people had fun, and the sheep and ducks were, well, sheep and ducks. We missed our Canadian exhibitors who were unable to come at the last minute — hope to see you all next time around. Here are the scoring highlights:
Combined High in Trial went to Border Collie Holman’s Tuck N Role of Chesta’s Calaway (Tucker), owned and handled by Ashley Wright. Congratulations, Tucker and Ashley!
Daily Awards: Saturday High in Trial went to Tucker, RHIT to Border Collie Contact Point Heart of Joy (Asher), owned by Heather Christianson, handled by Carol Wolfram. Sunday HIT was Pembroke Welsh Corgi Outlands Stella For Star, owned by Susan and William Nolen, handled by Barbara Davenport; RHIT was Tucker. On Monday, HIT was Briard Bijou Snapshot in Time (Leica), owned and handled by Carol Wolfram. RHIT went to Tucker.
