



How hot was it? Not as hot as last year, but we were close to 90. Luckily the breeze moderated the heat this weekend as the club held its first D Course event of the year. Warm thanks to judges Linda Bell, Cathy Balliu, and Craig Watson, to Barb and Steve for hosting at Packleader, and to the many volunteers who made the trial possible. A special shout-out to Aaron Brown who has rigged us some internet access in and around the secretary’s building (and who took some great pictures)! Now about that A/C…

Friday: High in Trial was Pembroke Welsh Corgi Outlands Stella For Star on D course, started (handled by Barbara Davenport, owners Sue and Steve Nolen); Reserve HIT was Border Collie Contact Point Etienne of Navarre on Advanced A ducks (handled by Carol Wolfram, owner Heather Christensen).
Saturday: High in Trial was Australian Shepherd Baywind Worth The Wait (Jake Ryan) on Intermediate D Course sheep; Reserve HIT was Outlands Stella For Star, D Course sheep, Started.
Sunday: High in Trial was Border Collie Contact Point Heart of Joy (Asher) D Course Advanced sheep (handler Carol Wolfram; owners Karen Moureaux & Heidi Loganbill); Reserve HIT was Rottweiler Prim Lewirot on D Course Intermediate sheep (handler Barbara Davenport, owners Charlotte Dietsch & Tracy Chavez).
Combined High in Trial for the weekend went to Outlands Stella For Star TKN PT HSAs HIAs HTADI-s HSDs (Stella) handled by Barbara Davenport, (owners Sue and Steve Nolen).
