The club’s August trial was a success, with pleasant weather (if damp on Friday) and some stellar accomplishments. Thanks to judges Craig Watson, Sandy Moore, and Ashley Wright, to Barbara Davenport and Steve Weigley for hosting us at Packleader Farm, and to all of the club members and other volunteers for putting on a great trial.
On Friday, High in Trial went to Contact Point Heart of Joy (Asher) owned by Heather Christensen and handled by Carol Wolfram. Asher also completed his Herding Championship! Reserve HIT went to Holman’s Can’t Have Just One of Chesta’s Callaway (Tater), owned and handled by Ashley Wright.

Saturday’s High in Trial went to Oh, Mordu par l’Amour de Roi Givre (Mordu), owned and handled by Barbara Davenport. Reserve HIT went to Belfair Colebrae Continuous Quilt (Quilt), owned and handled by Kathy McDaniel. Sunday’s HIT went to Pentangle’s She Comes On Like A Rose (Ivy), owned and handled by Debra Thomas; RHIT went to Asher.

We had several successful Pretrial Tests as well, including Laura Cronin’s German Shepherd Dog Desi who completed a C course PT. Complete results may be found in the marked catalog on the Events page. Congratulations to all!

D Course Update
In other news, the club’s planned D course trial in November will add a third day and third judge. Watch the Events page for the premium list.
