The sun shone on the Hearts & Flowers AHBA Trial at Packleader Farm last Friday and Saturday. Originally scheduled for three days, last minute circumstances led to an altered format with two judges. Many many thanks to Saturday’s judge Annette Hoffmann who graciously came to our rescue when others had to cancel. Congratulations to Friday’s High in Trial, Border Collie Bobby Blue (“Bobby.” Kent Bradley), and RHIT Border Collie Leonidas (“Leo,” Alicia Gonzales). Saturday’s HIT went to Border Collie CBK Mnx (“Mnx,” Anne Kerker), who also won the special High Combined Award. RHIT was Justus Wanna Be Dazzled (“Dazzle,” Lisa Axnick). Volunteers made the day possible: stock handlers, trial secretaries, scribes and assorted competitors who stepped up to lend a hand. Special thanks to Donna Berotti for the excellent breakfast and lunch items.
NOTE: The AHBA St. Paddy’s Day Rally trial originally scheduled for March has been cancelled. The next AHBA trial at Packleader will be in July. Check the events calendar for all the upcoming trials and links to flyers and entry forms as well as results when they become available.
