The PNW Herding Club spring AKC trial at PackLeader is in the books. The weather ranged from brilliant sunshine to suspiciously thick rain, sometimes on the same day, but all survived. Judges were Connie Gohl and Laura De La Cruz.
Several ABHCWW members did well, most notably Charlotte Dietsch’s Rottweiler, Prim Lewirot HT PT HSAs HIAs HSDs HIDs HXAs (Prim) earned her Herding Championship with a win (and HIT) on Saturday in Advanced A Sheep! Congratulations to Charlotte and co-owner Tracy Chavez and to handler Barbara Davenport.
Barbara also took the RHIT on Saturday with her Beauceron, Oh, Mordu par l’Amour de Roi Givre (Mordu), with a win on Advanced C Course, and piloted Pembroke Welsh Corgi Outlands Stella For Star (Stella) to her Started B Course title.
Deb Thomas’s Bearded Collie CH Pentangle’s She Comes On Like A Rose HT PT HSAs (Ivy) completed her Started titles in A Ducks and A Sheep and took RHIT on Friday. AND Elizabeth Schaab’s Berger Picard, Chaos Charlemagne King of the Francs (Charlie), completed his Started title in C course.
