Hello, fellow herding enthusiasts! Hope you are having an enjoyable spring, now that we are getting some warmer spring weather. Here is an update and some reminders of upcoming events:
Entries for our Memorial Day AKC trial (A course sheep, ducks, cows; B sheep, ducks, cows; C sheep, HT/PT sheep) are open but will close on Wednesday, May 17. Premium and fillable form can be found on the Events 2023 page.
Our June AKC trial – D course sheep (plus A ducks, HT and PT sheep) now has finalized judging assignments after a bit of a shuffle. Rochelle Stanford-Dias will judge on Friday and Saturday, with Connie Gohl on Sunday. Entries are open! You can find the updated premium and fillable entry form on our Events 2023 page.
Our club fundraiser on June 17 features AKC testing for Farm Dog Certified, Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Novice. Two judges will be available for FDC so it is possible to complete both legs in one day AND support our club! Pass the word. Flyer and entry forms on the Events 2023 page.
