ABHCWW May Trial Results

The club’s 2023 Memorial Day Trial is in the books. The hot weather held off nicely, providing comfortable herding temperatures all weekend. The sheep and ducks were grateful. The cows were, well, cows. Our thanks to judges Rusty Jeffers and Craig Watson, our many volunteers, Trial Committee, and a special thanks to Donna Berotti for delicious breakfast and lunch goodies.

Complete results can be found on the Events 2023 page, but here are some highlights: Deb Thomas and her Beardie Ivy (Pentangle’s She Comes On Like A Rose) cleaned up, with two HIT, one RHIT, and High Combined for the weekend. HIT Saturday was Sarron Dreams of Reverie (Vivi; Jill Miller, owner; Melinda Galt, handler). RHIT Sunday went to Karab’s Ewe-Neekly Akeen (Akeen, Kristin Thompson), and RHIT Monday was Lacycreek Love Me Like You Do (Ellie; Lynn Erckmann, owner; Melinda Galt, handler).

New Herding Champions! Barbara Davenport & Pamela Frost’s Beauceron Mordu (Oh, Mordu par l’Amour de Roi Givre) finished his AKC Herding Championship, as did Carol Wolfram’s Briard Bijou Snapshot in Time (Leica).

Congratulations to all!
