After a rainy start, the PNWHC fall trial enjoyed sunny skies and comfortable temperatures this weekend. We had some really nice runs, including in D course — a new feature for this normally A-C course trial. Thanks to our judges Rusty Jeffers and Carol Wolfram, our stock handlers, and all the volunteers who make these trials possible.
Full results can be found on the 2024 Events page. Here are some highlights: High in Trial all three days went to Connie Gohl and her Aussie Believe Brings Xmas Roses To Merribrook (Rosalee). The special High Combined Award for the weekend, sponsored by Packleader Farm’s Barbara Davenport and Steve Weigley, also went to Rosalee and Connie. Reserve HIT went to Apex’s Cruisin’ Cannellini (Cannellini), owned by Marley Dobyns (Friday), Holman’s Pick A Side Of Chesta’s Callaway PT (Twix), owned by Ashley Wright (Saturday), and Country-way Skywing Spice Cake (Spice), owned by Kim Buffum (Sunday). Congratulations!
Finally, special congratulations to two dogs who finished their AKC Herding Championships this weekend: Reverie’s Golden Heir to Rolin Ridge (Royal), owned and handled by Annette Sullivan; and Outlands Stella For Star (Stella), owned by Susan and William Nolen and handled by Barbara Davenport.
